Nearly end of the year

Well its been a crazy year,

First half was devoted to Computer Networking @ Avonmore, and then that finished in April. I had a cool down period of 2 months after being accpeted to Natcoll for Web Development and todo my last two CompTIA Exams, A+ Technician and Network+.

Then July came round and i started out at Natcoll, now in December im still enjoying the course, even though ive got a crap load of work todo in the holidays which im spending a week in Nelson so i’ll be without my computer need to get a laptop =P

Right now, we are doing Flash, im playing around with abit of actionscript and playing wtih FLiNT Particle System for Flash \o/

$18.98NZD for a 2GB Toshiba USB Flash Drive. Worth it, or not?

So after long and careful thought (about a 5minute descision) i went and bought the cheapest USB flash drive i could get my hands on, turns out the cheapest was $19NZD at Dick Smith Electronics…Its a 2GB Toshiba MicroDrive which of course, was made in china \o/.

This was becuase Natcoll (where im studying) is doing a re-ghosting/reformating of all the machines on campus, which included the users partition. And naturally my tutor had to mention me to get a pen drive  in an email he sent to the class earlier today >_< but to my luck, all my data on my users patition fitted on there (just!).

Oh well….

Counter-Terrorists Wins

So on saturday my mate bought me Counter-Strike:Source for steam as it as on 75% off sale for the weekend so it was like $5 USD which was good…

So the last day Ive been playing againsts bots at home till we get broadband which might not happen till next year now due to circumstances, which kinda sucks in a way, been waiting two months for something to be finally done about that so oh well…Sooooooon

PHP Assignment – User Forum

Well for the last month, i have been busy working on our courses php assignment, i choose todo a user forum (which im kinda regretting) i spent the first week just designing the database, the next week on documentation (still had to redo parts of it) and then when i could finally get to work on the site itself  its taken a while just to start on the php coding, Its due Monday and i can honestly say im not going to make the deadline which means i have alot of work todo in the holidays if i can arrange it.

I’ll put a few screenshots of it later on.  But for now, its looking girm and i dont think i can prevent missing the deadline, oh well..

Change of Theme..

So until i can be bothered making my own theme. this will suffice, Things to change, that ghastly header image below the text, will replace that for sure!

*Update: Changed the header Image, looks better than the default one =P its a screen of some code i did in course, nothing exciting really….

New Beginnings

Well after some thought, id give this blog another chance at activeness as such.

All the posts orginially here, are still on hand, just no longer published and moved to a Old Posts Category.

I’ll probally be getting a proper site going once i can afford todo so which wont be till next year roughly!
